Information About The Walks
The walk starts with a mandatory safety briefing, followed by an introduction to alpacas, covering their origins, diet, fleece, and interesting facts. Participants will then meet and greet their alpacas, feed them treats, and prepare for the walk. The 45-minute walk includes time for photos and snacks, allowing alpacas to explore their surroundings.
What might you need to bring?
-
In order to remain safe (but mainly dry) you will need sturdy wellies or boots, warm clothes and suitable waterproofs for our great British weather. No umbrellas please the Alpacas haven't yet worked out what an umbrella is! Even if it is sunny outside, the ground may still be wet and slippy.
-
In summer we advise to bring suncream for those hot sunny days. Make sure to bring water and stay hydrated. There is a coffee shop close by to purchase refreshments from during opening times.
-
Although we are not put off by rain, we reserve the right to reschedule bookings if we feel it is too extreme, or unsuitable.
-
We're sorry but we cannot allow dogs to accompany us on our walk.
Late arrivals
Pease arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your experience. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be able to take part as you will have missed our mandatory Safety talk. Please allow plenty of time for your journey as we would be unable to allow latecomers to join the walking group.
Cancellations
Please give 72 hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your walk. Sadly under 72 hrs notice we will not be able to reschedule or refund your booking.

Spectators
If someone wants to walk with a full paying adult or child they will need to purchase a ‘spectators’ ticket, which is £10.
